I am excited to Steven Covey joining the Huntsman School of Business. I read his book several years ago, the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and get excited about the principles he teaches. I have thought about them over the years.
He talks about Habits 1-7, which are:
Be Proactive- Respond rather than react.
Begin with the end in Mind- Create a mission statement
Put First Things First-
Think Win/Win-
Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood
Synergize
Sharpen the Saw
Principle centered leadership is intriguing to me because it makes you think about how you are doing. There is always room for improvement.
